The engine coolant temperature sensor measures the temperature of the engine coolant as it passes through the thermostat housing. This fault code is activated if the engine coolant temperature is above 107?C [225?F] for at least five seconds.
Possible causes:
1)Obstructed radiator
2)Plugged vent lines
3)Aerated coolant
4)Other cooling system failure.
