VOLVOUU All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P04D900 PID: EMS Closed Loop EGR Control At Limit – Flow Too Low
This function is used to calculate the EGR Mass Flow. The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors the EGR diffpressure sensor and the EGR temperature sensor after cooler and uses these signals to calculate the EGR Mass Flow data.
Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) EGR mass flow is below calculated value
2) The EGR mass flow is an calculated value based on a number of sensor signals and software calculations

1) EGR Cooler
2) EGR System
3) Connector
4) Wiring harness
5) EGR Valve
6) Exhaust leakage
7) EGR differential pressure sensor
Detailed information
1) The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) will be shown as inactive when the ignition key is turned to the 0 position
2) To fully verify the repair it may be necessary to activate vehicle functions or perform a test drive
3) One or more diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) have been set for faults in the EGR system
