VOLVOUU All Engines (2017 Emissions) Fault Code: P10FF86 PID: EMS Reductant Level Sensor “A” Circuit Electrical

Aftertreatment Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Tank, Level Sensor has an indicator lamp and gauge in the instrument cluster. A solid lamp comes on when there is approximately 16% DEF remaining in the tank. A flashing lamp indicates when there is approximately 4% DEF remaining in the tank. A 25% engine derate is possible if the DEF is not refilled above the red line on the gauge at the next engine start up.

Conditions for diagnostic trouble code (DTC):
1) Low fluid level in the tank (Approximately 16%)
2) Low signal voltage from sensor

1) Low fluid level in the tank
2) Wiring harness
3) Aftertreatment diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank, Level Sensor, Temperature Sensor
